The Saturday Workshop
One day. Part One of Building A Solid Canine — the Foundation every dog starts with — taught by Garrett, then dogs evaluated live in front of the room. You leave knowing what you're looking at, the fundamentals of training, and how to apply them.

What you'll learn
The Foundation is the part of the system nobody skips. How to set training goals. What a disposition is, and what drives your dog — prey, social, civil, defense. How to properly evaluate a temperament, so you can handle and train the dog in front of you. Then the tools: training phases, the 90-10 rule, reinforcement and timing, the reward mark, engagement, and leash yielding. It's the why behind everything you'll ever do with a leash.
The day
Check-in 9:30. Lecture 10:00 to 12:00. Questions 12:00 to 12:30. Lunch 12:30 to 1:00 — bring your own. Evaluations from 1:00 until every dog has been evaluated.
