Welcome to Ridley K9 Academy! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our dog training services. By using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

Training Services 

  1. While the Trainer will make every reasonable effort to train the Dog to fulfill the Client’s training and/or behavior goals, no guarantee is provided regarding the Dog’s performance or behavior as a result of professional dog training and/or behavior modification. 
  2. The Client acknowledges the necessity of completing the recommended number of follow-up sessions, following the Trainer’s routines, adhering to homework instructions, working with their dog daily, and consistently reinforcing and maintaining their dog’s training.  

Training Provided 

Ridley K9 Academy provides a variety of dog training services, including but not limited to: 

  1. In-Home Training: A Trainer from Ridley K9 Academy will come to help you train your dog in your home or in other environments. 
  2. Board and Training: Ridley K9 Academy and their Trainers board and train our clients’ dogs in their home for an agreed amount of time. 
  3. Group Dog Training: We provide our clients with an exclusive membership that allows access to our group dog training class. 
  4. Obedience Training: Basic and advanced obedience training for dogs of all ages. 
  5. Behavior Modification: Addressing and correcting behavioral issues such as aggression, anxiety, and excessive barking. 
  6. Puppy Training: Training a puppy to have a solid foundation for life. 
  7. Specialized Training Programs: Custom training tailored to specific client needs, such as companion or service dog training, protection training, agility training, and more. 
  8. Special Conditions and Limitations: All training services require an assessment of your dog to determine their temperament and trainability. Specific training programs may have additional terms and conditions, which will be provided at the within our training service agreement. 

Release of Liability and Indemnification: 

  1. Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ridley K9 Academy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your use or inability to use the services; (b) any unauthorized access to or use of our services and/or any personal information stored therein. 
  2. Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold Ridley K9 Academy harmless from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, including legal fees, arising out of your use or misuse of our services, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights of another. 
  3. No Warranties: Ridley K9 Academy provides services on an “as is” basis and makes no warranties of any kind, either express or implied. 
  4. The Client acknowledges the potential hazards associated with the Trainer’s services and agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Ridley K9 Academy, the Trainer, the Trainer’s agents, and the property owner. 
  5. The Client is responsible for all losses and damages arising from property damage caused by the Dog or injuries to any dog, animal, or person during or after the term of this Agreement. 
  6. Should the Dog be injured during or after the term of the Agreement, the Client assumes all risks, and the Trainer or Ridley K9 Academy shall not be held liable for any resulting injuries, losses, damages, costs, or expenses. 
  7. The Trainer or Ridley K9 Academy may terminate the training services if, in their sole judgment, the Dog is deemed dangerous, interferes with training, or if the Client breaches any term of this Agreement. Such termination does not affect the validity of other provisions in this Agreement. 

User Responsibilities 

  1. Accurate Information: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information as required for using our services. 
  2. Compliance: You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations while using our services. 
  3. Following Instructions: You are expected to follow all instructions provided by our trainers to ensure the safety and effectiveness of the training. 
  4. Behavior: You are responsible for the behavior of your dog during training sessions. Ridley K9 Academy reserves the right to terminate services if a dog poses a threat to the safety of our trainers or others. 

Training Fees and Payment Terms: 

  1. Due Dates: Payments are due as specified in the service agreement. 
  2. Fees: The fees for our services will be detailed in the service agreement. 
  3. Payment Methods: We accept various payment methods, including credit/debit cards, bank transfers, check, cash, Choose to Pay, Venmo, PayPal and other electronic payment methods. 
  4. Late Fees: Late payments may incur additional fees as specified in the service agreement. 

Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy: 

  1. If the Client has paid for services prior to the service being rendered and decides to cancel the service, partial refunds (50%) are given if the cancellation is made at least 7 days prior to the start of the Client’s reservation. 
  2. If the Client cancels within 7 days of the reservation, all payments may be applied as a credit under certain circumstances, as outlined in the specific guidelines of this service agreement (non-refundable). 
  3. The Client can cancel and withdraw their dog(s) from training at any time (non-refundable). 
  4. Rescheduling more than 24 hours before scheduled appointment the client can reschedule without penalty. 
  5. Rescheduling less than 24 hours before scheduled appointment a $200 scheduling fee will be charged to the Client’s account. 
  6. The Trainer reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel or credit any remaining training balance under the following conditions: 
  7. If the Trainer determines that it is unable to help the Client and/or the Dog. 
  8. If the Dog is deemed to be a liability or safety concern. 
  9. All payments made by the Client are non-refundable. In the event of cancellation or credit of the remaining training balance, as specified above, the remaining balance must be applied towards in-home training services provided by the Trainer. 

Refunds for Services:   

  1. At Ridley K9 Academy, we are dedicated to fostering a partnership with our clients and their dogs through our training programs. Our policy emphasizes collaboration and commitment to ensure the best outcomes. 
  2. We are committed to working closely with clients who demonstrate dedication and commitment to following our recommendations. 
  3. We stand behind our training methods and strive to form a lasting partnership with our clients and their dogs. 
  4. Once training has commenced, all fees paid, and any associated costs are non-refundable. 
  5. A binding service agreement, once signed, ensures that all payments and/or fees are non-refundable. 
  6. Ridley K9 Academy does not provide refunds for same-day bookings. All fees associated with same-day bookings are final and non-refundable. 
  7. For details on cancellations and rescheduling, please refer to our separate Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy. 
  8. The terms outlined in the Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy will provide additional information on any conditions under which credits, or rescheduling may be considered   

Intellectual Property 

  1. Content Ownership: All materials, content, and services provided by Ridley K9 Academy are the intellectual property of Ridley K9 Academy and are protected by applicable laws. 
  2. Usage Rights: You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content provided by Ridley K9 Academy without explicit permission. 

Privacy and Security 

  1. Data Handling: We collect and use personal information as described in our Privacy Policy [Insert Privacy Policy URL].  
  2. Security Measures: We implement various security measures to protect your personal information. However, we cannot guarantee absolute security. 
  3. Third-Party Data Sharing: We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties, except as necessary to provide our services or as required by law. 

Governing Law 

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Insert State/Country]. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in [Insert City/State].
