About Garrett Ridley
A Journey of Passion and Expertise in Dog Training
Garrett’s love for dogs blossomed from his earliest memories, sparking a lifelong passion that would shape his future. His journey into the world of canine companionship began when he welcomed his first American Bulldog at the age of 19, followed closely by rescuing a Pitbull mix.
Challenges arose as conflicts emerged between his beloved pets, propelling Garrett to seek knowledge. Faced with the difficulty of finding a trainer, he immersed himself in books on training, behavior, and aggression. This self-guided education resolved conflicts and equipped Garrett with the tools to prevent future issues, learning how to stop his dogs from fighting.
Since 2004, Garrett’s unwavering dedication to learning and growth has propelled him into a journey of mentorship and training, honing his skills as a proficient trainer and decoy. Mastering the art of training in obedience and protection, Garrett achieved certification as a PSA decoy. He earned invitations to participate in police K9 trials, training sessions, and seminars for over a decade. Throughout this period, Garrett expertly handled several of his dogs, securing numerous obedience and protection certificates and titles.
With over 20 years of enriching experience, Garrett has positively impacted the lives of thousands of working and pet dogs and their devoted owners. His unwavering commitment to the well-being of both people and their canine companions is evident in his work.
